Before you start
New Members OfferWhat age can my child start?
At 4, in Little Dragons. In some cases a child of 3½ can try a class to see if they are ready; the instructors decide child by child.
How do we start?
Start with two free trial classes at the school you choose. You get the same guidance full members get.
Do we need experience, or to be in shape?
No. There are classes for complete beginners, and instructors guide each student step by step at their own pace.
Is taekwondo a good fit for a child who is shy, very active or has ADHD?
Taekwondo can give children with different personalities and needs a structured, positive place to train, and the instructors have seen many students improve their focus, confidence and listening. Start with the two free classes so the instructors can meet your child.
