What happens in class
Children aged 7 to 12 train in classes grouped by belt. Each group runs its own 45-minute class in the early evening at every school, and Milton adds Saturday-morning classes.
The curriculum covers three things in rotation: poomse (the WT Taegeuk patterns), kicking and punching combinations with self-defence and footwork, and sparring. Beginners spar without contact; from the intermediate group, students spar with equipment and can enter tournaments.
