What happens in class

Teens and adults train together in the evening Teen/Adult class at each school: 45 to 60 minutes, all belts together. No experience and no particular fitness level is needed to start.

The program covers WT Taegeuk patterns, self-defence, kicking and punching combinations, sparring with equipment and more, with self-defence techniques from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Aikido and Hapkido taught with the help of law-enforcement veteran instructors. Master Shak is an 11-year veteran of the Toronto Police Service.

Teens and adults at Oakville train together Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 8:45 PM, and on Friday at 5:45 PM in the Red to Poom and Teen and Adult class (all ages). Master Ridge Menezes, a 6th Dan and former Team Canada junior athlete, is the head instructor.
