Some Things You May Not Know About Oakville Summer Camps
Though summer camps may run for a few days or a few weeks at a time, there are also overnight and day camps. With day camps, you’ll drop your child at camp in the morning and pick them up in the evening, mimicking the very familiar schedule of school. On the other hand, overnight camps allow your children to stay overnight at the camp, meaning you’ll drop them off at the start of the program and pick them up when it is fully finished.
Did you know that children’s camps are not typically HST exempt? But with Dragon Taekwondo, we do NOT charge hst! Score, right? Make sure you receive a receipt for your child’s enrolment! Without the receipt you’ll struggle to claim the camp under the Ontario’s Child Care Tax Credit.

We always recommend parents to research camps by reading reviews about them online, seeing if there are YouTube videos available, and speaking to the camp representatives directly to learn more about their programming.
