What activities did you do on the summer camp?

Milton Summer Camp

We run a taekwondo summer camp, but we offer dozens more activities than just taekwondo. Afterall, it would get boring for kids to just do a martial art all day at summer camp. Instead, we’ve developed a curriculum for our camps which offers a huge range of opportunities for your child to have fun and try something new. In fact, we offer trips as part of our Milton Academy summer camp. Here’s what your child can look forward to if you enroll them with us.

Different Types of Physical Activities:

While taekwondo is great, kids have much more energy than you can just put into one physical activity. We have so many other fun options that your child will love to do, and that’ll help them focus on their most essential physical skills (never mind grow a love for physical activity that will last them their whole life). Some of those activities include:

  • Our ninja obstacle course
  • Rock climbing wall
  • Warp wall
  • Rope climbing
  • Weapons training
  • Nerf wars in an inflatable maze
  • And many more…

Weekly Field Trips:

Throughout our summer camps, we offer weekly field trips to places outside of the dojo. It’s fun and exciting for the kids to get out. Here are some of the places we like to visit:

  • Sky Zone
  • Dave and Busters
  • GyGo
  • Champs
  • Putting Edge
  • Go Bananas
  • Flying Squirrel
  • And many more.

Emotional and Mental Skill Development:

We have the perspective that all the skills we do in this camp will help your child learn to handle emotions, cooperate, have discipline and much more. However, we also have certain activities that are intended to help children with these skills specifically. We do meditation time, for example, introducing children to meditation early is a great way to help them learn to control their feelings and calm themselves.

Movies, Arts and Crafts, and More Fun:

There are many more activities that we do for our summer camps which help children develop other skills, keep them engaged, and simply give them a fun outlet. Sometimes kids just need to be kids. We watch movies as a group on one big screen, we do a ton of arts and crafts projects and we’re always looking to have fun.

Try Our Milton Summer Camp

Once your child tries our taekwondo summer camp, we know they’ll want to come back. Ask your child if any of the activities we’ve listed here for our Milton Academy summer camp interest them. If so, you can reach out to us to register your child by calling our Milton location at (647) 905-5886 or clicking here.
